As part of the Glasgow School of Art's annual Salon exhibition, Frank exhibited Staran (2026) for their Salon des Absolutions exhibition. The show, which takes its name from the ideas of the 1863 'Salon des Refusés', asked artists to exhibit works which sit outside the conventional parameters of their practice as a way to address discomfort or anxieties within their practice.

In the exhibition, Frank exhibited the lithograph Staran (2026) which takes its name from a Gaelic word, meaning a path, track or trail. The term also refers to stepping stones or a crossing through a stream.
