Mud, People, Shoves Heroes explores the "Shovel Superheroes," a collective disaster-relief response following Taiwan's 2025 floods. It highlights how social media drives spontaneous collaboration, fostering a shared collective consciousness through physical labor and emotional connection. The exhibition crowdsources archival images from the public while inviting artists from diverse cultural backgrounds to gather elements and re-envision this event through sound and visuals. By offering multiple perspectives on this collective action, the project aims to reopen discussions around this "past collective experience," generating fresh imaginings and creating new emotional connections across time and space.
