For the MFA Degree Show 2026, Frank exhibited several works which respond to concepts of walking, place, location and locationality. Grounded in a response to Scottish landscapes, the work acts as a reflection on our relationships with mountainous spaces and invites the viewer to consider movement through and in a space. In this body of work, Frank responds to the Arrochar Alps as a location rich with historical connection to land, from the built communities in this location to the walking routes and journeys that take place within them. Rooted in the material nature of wild spaces, several sculptural works within the exhibition entropy and find new forms as the soil samples from which they are formed expire while others ground the viewer within a location. In addition to these sculptural works, Frank exhibited a collection of prints which record local walking routes and consider the ephemerality of human existence through their relationship with place and the temporal nature of the photographic medium.

Through this, there is a dialogue between materiality of place and the way human communities use the natural world, examining time from a human and geological perspective and how we move in and through natural spaces.

For the MFA degree show, Frank was represented as part of the GSA Showcase 2026 and was published in the June 2026 issue of The Skinny in both physical and online formats. He also took part in social media promotion for the show and took part in an artist interview which was recorded for the Glasgow School of Art's Instagram.
